Objectives / Ziele

The book wants to support the introduction of a new musicsoftware that combines traditional and alternative numbered notations.

Das Buch unterstützt die Einführung einer neuen Musiksoftware, mit der gleichzeitig die traditionelle Notation und auf Ziffern beruhende Notationen geschrieben werden können.

1) Traditional Notation (TN) / Traditionelle Notation

For traditional notation I refer to the many publications in public domain on this subject and in addition to the handbooks and educational material available by the Arpege Pizzicato company. All material depicting notes has been written exclusively with the software Pizzicato 3.6 professional if not stated otherwise.

Zur traditionellen Notation wird auf die zahlreichen in öffentlicher Domain befindlichen Publikationen zu diesem Thema hingewiesen und zusätzlich auf die Handbücher und das Trainingsmaterial der Firma Arpege Pizzicato. Alles Notenmaterial des Buches wurde mit der Software Pizzicato 3.6 professional geschrieben, falls nicht anders erwähnt. ( Das Buch und die Software und die Handbücher sind derzeit nur in englischer und französischer Sprache erhältlich. )

2) Alternative Notations / Alternative Notationen

There are many interesting versions of alternative notations published and in addition to wikipedia there is excellent material published on the www.musicnotation.org website describing many different aproaches adressing the task of musicnotation.

Zahlreiche alternative Notationen wurden publiziert und zusätzlich zu Wikipedia wurde hervorragendes Material auf der website www.musicnotation.org veröffentlicht, die viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten beschreiben Musik zu notieren.

3) Alternative numbered Notation / Alternative ZiffernNotation

a) Standard Jianpu

Standard Jianpu: the system based on the work of Rosseau, Chevè and others is described in some detail on the wikipedia numbered musical notation website and there will be no detailed additional description here. The add on to Pizzicato offers to convert music written in traditional notation ( TN) into Standard Jianpu and vice versa.

Wikipedia 2013: “The system is very popular among some Asian people, making conventions to encode and decode music more accessible than in the West, as more Chinese can sight read jianpu than standard notation.” That´s why we included Jianpu into our software. Jianpu is easy to learn and to read.

Standard Jianpu ist das von Rosseau, Chevè und anderen entwickelte System, das auf der deutschen Wikipedia-website als Chinesische Ziffernnotation oder Jianpu-Notation beschrieben wird und hier nicht zusätzlich detailliert beschrieben werden soll. Das add on zu Pizzicato ermöglicht es Musik, die mit Pizzicato geschrieben wurde, direkt von traditioneller Notation (TN) in Standard Jianpu umzuwandeln und umgekehrt.

Jianpu zu erlernen und zu schreiben ist leicht.

b) Hamburg Music Notation (HMN) – Jianpu / Hamburger Musik Notation – Jianpu

HMN follows most of the principles of Numbered Musical Notation as clearly presented in wikipedia. Hamburg Music Notation written like Jianpu abbreviated ( HMN-JIANPU ) will be described in detail.

HMN folgt überwiegend den Prinzipien der Jianpu-Notation wie sie in Wikipedia dargestellt werden. Die Hamburger Musik Notation in der Schreibweise Jianpu abgekürzt ( HMN-JIANPU ) wird im Detail beschrieben.

c) Hamburg Music Notation Vertical Pitch (HMN-VP)

This version enables the reader to identify each tone on a vertical scale and is especially useful for beginners and solo instrument players or singers since it directly shows the interval between notes.

Diese Version ermöglicht dem Leser jeden Ton in seiner Höhe auf einer vertikalen Skala zu erkennen und ist besonders nützlich für Anfänger, Solo-Instrumentalisten und Sänger, da das Intervall zwischen den Tönen direkt angezeigt wird.

4) Conclusion / Zusammenfassung

The book will concentrate on the description of HMN-JIANPU and Hamburg Music Notation Vertical Pitch (HMN-VP), the systems and software developed by the author of the book as partner of Arpege Pizzicato and is available as add-on to Pizzicato 3.6 and all other versions of Pizzicato. The book will only describe basic knowledge needed to produce sheet music and teaching material with the help of arpege musicsoftware and explain the advantages and differences of Hamburg Music Notation in comparison to standard music notation and standard Jianpu.

Das Buch konzentriert sich auf die Beschreibung von HMN-JIANPU und Hamburg Music Notation Vertical Pitch (HMN-VP), die Systeme und Software, die vom Autor des Buches als Partner von Arpege Pizzicato entwickelt wurde und als add–on zu Pizzicato 3.6 und allen anderen Versionen von Pizzicato erhältlich ist. Das Buch beschreibt nur Basiswissen, das notwendig ist um Notenblätter und Unterrichtsmaterial mit dieser Software herzustellen. Außerdem werden die Vorteile und Unterschiede der Hamburger Musik Notation im Vergleich zur Standard Notation und zu Standard Jianpu erläutert.
